Meet the Flock

My team: 13 animals, most of them rescues.

They're the reason I do this, and the ones who keep me honest about what animals really need.

Meet them by name

The twins

Bellamy and Tawarri are the one's who rule the house and the start of my channel. We began with bird videos, and they continue to demand the limelight regularly. They also gave us our name, terrortwins is their combined nickname.

The lils

Our feral foster fails, blu and grim. They were found in winter, injured in the snow and originally we were taming them for adoption. 2 years later, and they are only just coming around to humans and settled in their forever home. Blu is everyone's little brother, social, outgoing and desperate for Tawarris acceptance. Grim spends half the day talking to himself, we are pretty sure he sees ghosts.

Huggin

This mommas boy is a Quaker, and an absolute scaredy cat with a mischievous streak a mile long. Don't let the cute fool you, he's probably hatching a plan to frame his brother for something as we speak.

Munnin

A black capped conure with an addition to pine nuts and toes. He's intelligent, curious and laid back.. Until he hears a bag, then he is zeroed in and all seriousness. Pretty sure he has a master plan to eliminate pellets and replace all food with nuts.

Loki

Loki is a return, originally adopted from NACC under the name Lucipurr, but a college student who was not supposed to have a cat in their dorm. When discovered, we took him which we call Providence since we had actually planned to adopt him before his first owner.... He was apparently meant to be with us, and that's where he ended up. He has some medical issues, including kidney issues so he's on a medical diet. He's loyal, sweet and fully bonded to me.. Anyone who is not Tae can take a leap off a cliff as far as he's concerned.

Soraya

Losing her mother as a very young kitten was hard on her, but she was spoken for the day she came into NACC. Not even fully weaned and we knew she was going to join our family. She's outgoing, fearless, and has a habit of seeking out Tae for a suckle. Essentially any human who touches her is an excuse to chase down mom for a snuggle.

Sheba

When we met Sheba she was already an adult, and landed in the shelter when an inhome care taker was unable to keep her. She's known as the ghost, a nocturnal creature that's incredibly shy but will scream at you until she gets pets. Her shedding is Essentially how we keep track of her, she leaves trails of white fur across the counters and stove. More of a loner than the other cats she prefers to stalk a hapless human after dark than cuddle with the pride

Urchin

This mini fur ball is incredibly laid back and has a habit of eating her feelings... look at her wrong and she runs right to the food bowl while glaring at the offending human. A feral kitten adopted from Chesapeake, she's mellowed as she ages and enjoys a cuddle on her terms. She's not named for the little mermaid, urchin was once a word for an orphan. She was the quintessential street rat, fur all over, constantly covered in something as a kitten and the name stuck.

Eldred

This beautiful snake was bought out of euthanasia during the pandemic, when the store he was in allowed free access to their animals. Rough handling had him petrified of people, especially kids and I met him when he lunged for my fave to bite me. I respect that level of audacity, and promptly bought him when we heard he'd be put down as Un saleable. Now? After years of teady work he's gentle, laid back, and friendly.. He loves to curl into your hair and watch movies. He has a spicy streak, annoy him and he morphs into a cobra bit around here that's OK.

Animus

This pretty pink corn snake belonged to a sailor posted for dirty to the area. He was shy, and poorly socialized, we adopted him as an alternative to being released in the woods... Which he would not survive and is very illegal. Now he's lost his skittishness and he's content to hang out. He features in many videos, mostly because he's beautiful and he is prone to just chilling now.
